CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS:

❖   Agaru's  heartwood  is  rich  in  essential  oil,  resins,  alkaloids  (liriodenine),  saponins,

steroids, terpenoids, tannins,

❖   Agaru 7 flavonoids (aquisiflavoside, aquilarisinin, aquilarisin, and aquilarixanthone), and

phenolic compounds

 

 

 

 

USES:

❖   Helpful in increasing appetite

❖   Help to remove bad odor and bad breath

❖   Beneficial in diarrhea

❖   Able to reduce intestinal gas, inflammation and abdominal distensio
