USES:

v Medicinally used for the treatment of numerous diseases

v Including cutaneous infections

v Brain and liver disorders

v Diuretic

v Stimulant

v A decoction of the bark and fruit is mixed with oil and used to treat scabies

v A decoction of the astringent bark is used to treat dysentery and haemorrhoid

v A maceration of it is drunk for colds

v A cold infusion of the bark is used in treating dysentery

v Diabetes, gonorrhoea, yellow urine, and thrush
